Request and acceptance
A request is not a reserved delivery until Livora accepts it under the displayed service class or the customer accepts a quotation. Provide accurate cargo, quantity, weight, size, value, handling, pickup and recipient information. Known capacity or cargo-suitability failures cannot be overridden.
02
Pricing and matching
Where an approved policy applies, eligible service classes show their price, collection estimate and conditions. Otherwise the request remains awaiting quotation. Carrier matching is restricted to approved, available vehicles and credentials that meet the selected service and current request constraints.
03
Collection and handover
The pickup contact must release the correct goods. The carrier records custody and delivery evidence appropriate to the job. A recipient may receive without a Livora account, but identity or a one-time handover method may be required. Goods are not left with a neighbour or unattended without authorised instructions. The merchant that requested the delivery reviews the driver's final handover record and either confirms delivery or reports a problem. The merchant may contact the recipient before confirming.
04
Recipient travelling with the driver
If the request states before dispatch that the recipient will travel with the driver, separate signed or photographic handover evidence is not required. The driver records completion and the requesting merchant reviews the result. Passenger travel is permitted only where the carrier, vehicle, driver and journey may lawfully carry that person.
05
Exceptions
Failed collection, unsafe cargo, recipient refusal, damage or failed delivery is recorded and routed for a safe retry, storage, return or cancellation decision. A new charge is not created unless its basis is disclosed and accepted or otherwise lawfully due.
