Why information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts, check authority and eligibility, price and fulfil requests, communicate service updates, prevent fraud, reconcile transactions, resolve complaints and meet legal duties. Optional marketing requires a separate choice.
03
Location and evidence
Precise pickup and delivery points are used for routing, pricing and safety. Active-driver location is used only for assigned work and is not intended for off-duty tracking. Photos, signatures and handover records are restricted to authorised operational, complaint and audit users.
04
Sharing and infrastructure
Information is shared only as needed with the relevant merchant, supplier, carrier, driver, payment or infrastructure provider, professional adviser or public authority with lawful authority. Current infrastructure includes Neon-hosted PostgreSQL, Render application services and Cloudflare delivery and object-storage services. Cross-border processing remains subject to applicable Zambian localisation and transfer requirements.
05
Retention and security
We retain information for the purpose it was collected, applicable evidence and legal periods, then delete or anonymise it where lawful. Security measures include portal-scoped sessions, access controls, audit records and restricted evidence access. A qualifying personal-data breach is handled under the Data Protection Act, including regulator and affected-person notifications where required.
06
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and human review of an eligible automated decision. Contact Livora first; you may also complain to Zambia’s Data Protection Commissioner.
